Madregalia!! presents "Gloria!", a concert of Christmas music from England, Germany, France, Spain and Italy from before 1700. Voices, viols, recorders, harpsichord, organ, and dulcian. Featured works include Charpentier's Midnight Mass based on French carols, settings by Michael Praetorius of "Wie schoen leuchtet der Morgenstern" and "Quem Pastores," and Amner's impressive verse anthem "O ye little flock." We are proud to offer the talents of Jody Lee, Soprano, Elizabeth Gaver, violin, Francis Toldi, dulcian, and Penny Hanna, viola da gamba. Suggested donation is $20. Students are free.
